Hope is the only thing stronger than fear.
We lost my mother 2 years ago to cancer. She faced life's toughest challenge with both grace & resilience - an incredible personal choice that helped us all through the journey. When I think back to that time, amidst all the fear and uncertainty there was a ray of hope. That Godsend came in the form of a charitable foundation named Expect Miracles. Unbeknownst to me, EMF had helped the funding & speed to market of a drug that my mother was a match for. This extended her life, allowing her to fully enjoy my wedding & entrance into grandparenting...becoming "Nana" twice, holding my son and daughter. It was an absolutely priceless life experience, and something I have the fortune to cherish forever.I've come to believe that life's cornerstone is to help others. It's through help that hope is born; take my family as living proof. And that's why I will continue to do my part to help others that may find themselves in similar life situations as mine.
